FRDO organizes regular trainings, writing retreats, and lunch and learn series. We can also create custom workshops for specific cohorts, colleges or schools, departments, or teams. Early Career Lunch and Learn Series

This series provides new faculty with research development skills and an awareness of the campus resources available to them to generate competitive grant proposals and sustainable, long-term research plans.
Fridays, through April 28, 2023. Lunch is provided.

Advance Workshop Series

This series, organized by Advance at UNM with some support from FRDO, covers a range of research and career advancement topics from managing service loads to promotion planning, from supporting student mental health to creating strong Broader Impact plans for funding proposals. FRDO + Advance Writing Time

Join Advance and FRDO for quiet writing time every Wednesday afternoon from 2-4pm. Dedicate time to getting words on the page in a quiet, supportive setting. Sessions alternate between being in-person in the Advance space and on zoom. See the schedule for more information.
