Kennan Institute Title VIII-Supported Summer Research Scholarships
Eligibility
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- MA degree or higher is required.
- Scholars who conduct research in the social sciences or humanities focusing on Russia and the other countries of Eurasia, and who demonstrate a particular need to utilize the library, archival, and other specialized resources of the Washington, D.C. area.
Funding Priorities
- Policy relevant research is preferred.
- Proposals pertaining to the region (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, the Baltics, the Caucasus, and Central Aisa) will be considered.
Additional Information
- The scholarship is for a stipend. The sponsor will also provide access to research facilities, computer support, and some research assistance.
- Travel and accommodation expenses are not directly covered by the fellowship.
